The UK will not have to participate, if members approve the agreement about Brexit.
UK will have to participate in the elections to the European Parliament, as it is obvious that not enough time for the ratification of the agreement on withdrawal from the EU Parliament.
The vote is scheduled for may 23, but Prime Minister Theresa may announced that the UK will not have to participate, if members approve the agreement about Brexit.
But today, the Minister of state for Cabinet Affairs David Lidington, Savio that, unfortunately, “not be able to complete this process” until the date on which the UK is obliged to take part in the elections.
“We will redouble our efforts…to ensure that the delay after this will be as short as possible. Ideally, we would like to be in a situation when the members of the European Parliament will never take their seats in the European Parliament,” Lidington said, referring to British MEPs.
