Medvedev ordered to expand the list of goods subject to marking
The Chairman of Russian government Dmitry Medvedev ordered to expand the list of goods subject to marking to fight counterfeiting. About it write today “news”.
To create a system of labeling, the government decided at the end of 2017. Then its operator Medvedev has appointed the Centre for the development of promising technologies (CRPT), which will be within one month of the signed agreement. This company is 50% owned by the structure of USM Holdings Alisher Usmanov and its partners, another 25% is owned by “Rosteh” and Alexander Galitsky.
CRPT already marks the tobacco products and as an experiment — drugs, and from June on will give the company control over the fur. It was assumed that in 2019, the marking will become mandatory for 12 product categories and the list will be added to the tires, cameras, shoes, blouses, outerwear, leather clothing, perfumes, kitchenware and linen. But Medvedev decided to add eight more groups of goods — finished products from meat and fish, grocery, home appliances, baby food, vegetable oil, household chemicals, cosmetics, soft drinks. Such proposals, the government sent the Council of the Eurasian economic Commission (EEC), stated in the order. The decision on the marking of new groups has not yet been made, said the Deputy Prime Minister Maxim Akimov.
In addition, after a year of debate, the officials decided to label more and finished dairy products. Raw material supply will be monitored through a system of electronic veterinary certification “mercury”, and from the plant through labelling, says a Federal official. Thus, officials intend to label 21 group of products.
